The Corporate Governance Technical Support is an IoD Member benefit,
aimed at providing members with high-level guidance, based on corporate
governance best practices, around a particular query and to point the
member in the right direction regarding a possible solution.
It
is not always possible to provide a direct answer as responses will
depend on the specific circumstances and facts provided in the query.
The purpose of this free support is not to provide a formal opinion,
legal or otherwise, but to assist a member with relevant information to
consider and provide, where possible, high-level guidance and
recommendations on the matter.
It will ultimately be up to the member and/or board to make the final decision regarding the specific scenario.
